Meet Sacha Jones

“I believe in joy as a radically rebellious act. I believe in kitchen discos, river dunks & wiggling the blues away. And I really, really love cats.”

Outside of my work as a wellness coach and wedding celebrant, I'm happiest living (to the best of my ability) a nourished life ~ one rooted in nature, guided by the seasons, and filled with simple pleasures. I believe nourishment is about so much more than what's on our plate; it's found in creativity, connection, movement, rest, laughter, community, play and cultivating a sense of wonder in the everyday.

I'm a proud multi-potentialite, with an ever-growing list of passions. I'm a yogi, potter, gardener, knitter, maker, mender, avid reader, and enthusiastic dabbler. You'll often find me with my hands in the soil or covered in clay; brewing kombucha; dunking in the Delaware River; “one pot” cooking with whatever's in season; knitting some variation of the “Sophie scarf”; dancing in the kitchen; rudimentarily mending something; or picking wild flowers on the roadside.

I also love writing letters and adorning their envelopes with rubber stamps and stickers; and I have been known to leave some really long rambling voice-texts.

Originally from South Wales, I've called New York home for many, many moons. My wonderful husband, Mike, is my favourite partner in all things delicious, and together with our beloved and very sweet cat Midnight, we divide our time between the vibrant energy of NYC’s East Village and the quieter rhythms of rural Sullivan County. Dancing between city and country life serves as a constant reminder that there are many ways to live a nourished life, and that often the richest moments are found in slowing down, paying attention, and delighting in the ordinary.
